T.120 using the PictureTel 600 and 900 Series Systems

Symptoms:
When you initiate Sharing & Collaboration from the 600 Series in a conference with the 900 Series, Sharing works however Collaboration does NOT work.

Problem:
When you initiate Sharing & Collaboration from the 900 Series, Sharing & Collaboration works fine.

HOWEVER
When you initiate Sharing & Collaboration from the 600 Series, Sharing works however Collaboration does NOT work.

This is because the 900 Series uses NetMeeting Ver. 2.11 and the 600 Series uses NetMeeting Ver. 3.0x

If you are in a conference call with a system that is using a version of NetMeeting prior to 3.0 for collaboration, then that system cannot take control of any applications that are shared with the 600 Series system.


Resolution:
Have the 900 Series system initiate the Sharing and Collaboration.
