Remote Problem Management

Expedite VCS Problem Management Service offers you the benefit of a central point of contact with one number to enlist the help of Expedite VCS engineers who will coordinate the resolution of any technical issue across a wide range of technologies.

Multipoint Bridging Service

Expedite Bridging Service gives your company capability for multipoint conferencing without any administration or maintenance responsibilities. Bridging Service is cost-effective, easy to use, and meets your company's bridging needs, however frequently or infrequently used. The Service provides coverage, no matter what network provider or standards-based vendor equipment is used by each site. 

 

Bridge Management Service

Complete administration, scheduling, conference support, problem management of bridge and bridge network service issues, and reporting services for all your videoconferencing bridge(s), located at Expedite VCS Conference Services Centers or your site, available through one centralized telephone number. 

Expedite VCS bridge management clients are provided with many services including:

  • A Fully trained staff of certified video technicians who can remotely manage your bridge

  • Customer services which allows you to schedule calls or add participants quickly -- only several hours is required to add participants at sites which are on our system

  • Conference monitoring to ensure reliable system functionality Operator monitoring is also available as a specific service

  • Customized operation and billing services

As often happens in today's business environments being able to properly plan and execute major purchases often takes longer and are more complicated than they need to be. Expedite VCS offers onsite bridging based upon your needs as well as a complete network of off-site bridges that can be accessed by our clients.

 

(Remote) Problem Management

Technology expertise through a team of highly responsive, qualified and skilled engineers to provide single point of contact for conference support, trouble shooting and resolving videoconferencing problems, whether equipment, user or network related.

 

Call Launching

Video connections of point-to-point and/or multipoint calls established by the Expedite VCS conference engineer at the scheduled to start time, allowing users to concentrate on the meeting and not on the technology that supports the meeting.

 

Live Assist

Expedite VCS provides a dedicated Conference Support Engineer for the duration of the conference to immediately manage any issues that arise. This can be provided with any conference but is usually implemented for high profile or complex multi-site events.

 

Video Recording

Expedite VCS will record an important videoconference for up to 3 hours and store or send the tape for your later use.

 

Event Production

This service orchestrates high profile visual collaboration events end-to-end through comprehensive planning and management. The assigned Expedite VCS Event Manager scripts an Event Plan to detail all the roles and tasks to occur prior to, during, and post event. As the central point of contact, the Event Manager coordinates participating sites, vendors, and underlying technologies. On the event day, the Event Manager directs each critical step and action in the production of the event to ensure a highly successful visual collaboration experience.

 

Streamed (Web) Conference

For delivery and viewing of conferences over the Internet, Expedite VCS reserves the streaming server and sends a stream of stored or live content from a video feed out to your designated internet enabled audience.

 

Service Reporting

The Expedite VCS Client Services Manager provides statistical reports on a monthly basis, to allow your management to monitor usage, trends and business value of their videoconferencing network and services.

 

Educational Services

Expedite's Educational Services offer a continuum of high-quality learning programs, including courses, workshops, and training sessions. All focused on providing the practical hands-on knowledge you need to conduct effective professional videoconferences.

 

 

Conference Services Detailed Descriptions

 

Multipoint Bridging

 

Expedite Bridging Service's Multipoint Bridging service will provide your company with:

  • Single point of contact

  • Cost-effective Multipoint conferencing

Multipoint conferences may be reserved for a minimum of 30 minutes or as long as needed. Expedite will provide H.320 standard based multipoint service and support for all speed calls. 

 

Call Launching

 

With Call Launching, all calls will be connected prior to the conference scheduled start time, allowing the users to concentrate on the meeting and not on the technology, that supports the meeting. Expedite will launch the call (dial out) to the conference sites using Expedite's network. Network service charges are accrued based on scheduled port usage time and include set up time.

 

Conference Support

 

Expedite VCS will provide real time support to assist end-users with simple dialing and call set-up questions or when a disruption occurs at any time during a videoconference. The customer should contact Expedite VCS whenever a problem is experienced with the videoconferencing system, terminal adapter, network and other associated video equipment. Expedite VCS will attempt to resolve issues so that the videoconference can either start on time or proceed without further delay if possible. 

 

For any issue that cannot be resolved immediately, Expedite VCS will either advise the site coordinator of the problem for them to pursue a resolution or, if applicable, engage Problem Management service for the next level of support.

 

Expedite Managed Services

Bridging Register site, schedule conference, configure bridge, set up & close conference, provide bridge. Choice of H.320/H.323 algorithms. Charge is independent of data rate used. Service is delivered as "meet-me" where customers dial into a bridge. 
Continuous Presence Allows multiple sites (2,4, 5+1, or 9) to be viewed on screen simultaneously
Multipoint Call Launching Expedite VCS dials out from the bridge to connect sites for all multipoint conferences - see "Network Charges" below for network rates
T.120 Data Sharing Allows data sharing during conference
Rate Adaption Allows sites using different data rates (ex. 128, 384) to connect into the same conference (a.k.a. speed matching)
Transcoding Allows sites using different data rates, audio algorithms, and frame rates to connect into the same conference
